So, perhaps obviously, this is a role play blog for Mischa Lecter. I'm drawing her character from every bit of the canon known in the Hannibal series. I'm comfortable flipping between the verses provided by the television show, movies, books, or a combination of any of the above. You might see some writings on this journal from time to time which will probably be me either writing with the character for fun or to further character development. Normally it's a combination of the two.

Character Basics*:

Name: Mischa Lecter
Name Meaning: "Who is like God?"
Age: Flexible
Sexuality: Demisexual
Birthday: November 25th
Western Zodiac: Scorpio
Birthplace: Lithuania
Occupation:  Professor of religious studies, concert pianist, artist
Other Notes:
  • Managed to escape her captors, most likely because the attack came earlier. She didn't get away without some scars, however. [She hates them viciously.]
  • Grew up with Hannibal in the orphanage as one of the only girls. She proved able to talk, but only when forced by orders or threats. Otherwise she stuck close to her brother with whom she seemed capable of communicating with looks and gestures. Any boy that grew too interested in her was on the receiving end of something nasty from Hannibal [and in some cases herself].
  • She was eventually taken under the wing of Lady Murasaki, just like Hannibal. It didn't take her long to figure out just what her brother was and what he was doing, but distancing herself from him because of it wasn't an option. She simply didn't know how. [Especially when he revealed the targets of his aggression to her.]
  • She will only kill under extreme measures, although Hannibal has most certainly taught her the proper ways to go about it. Her first kill was a guard on the boat who was about to raise the alarm to the deaths. It was a spur of the moment action, but the ease with which was able to do it horrified her. Hannibal has tried to shield her from it ever since.
  • After Hannibal slipped away she was sent off to a French finishing school for girls. It was a predominantly Catholic institution, which gave Mischa a fascination in God [the balance of his cruelty and love almost reminded her of her brother]. She soon came to have a fascination in all religions as a whole.
  • Her brother and her kept in touch through letters, but she hasn't moved to where he is until recently.

*Please note that this is my own AU interpretation and it's a bit of a work in progress to boot
